Nathan Hale Baseball HistoryWest Allis Hale Baseball Doug was a 1985 graduate of Nathan Hale, where he was an exceptional football, basketball and baseball player. His baseball talents lead him to attended Grand View University in Iowa to play baseball. Doug lost a battle with ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, in the early 2000’s. This award is voted on by the players and given to the most valuable player on the team. 2006 – Dan Krueger and Paul Horvatin West Allis Hale Baseball Chach was an iconic Hale baseball coach from 1970’s through 1991. He taught his players how to play the game the right way…work hard, have fun and be successful. He was a great person who worked for the West Allis-West Milwaukee Recreation Department for many years. Chach also played minor league baseball for two years in the mid-1940’s. This award is voted on by Coach Dooley, and is given to the player that he believes most exemplifies the team attitude and enjoys playing the game of baseball. 2006 – Ryan King Links for individual years:
